Lisa asks…Administering Cyclosporine to my dog. Can I break open the capsule?My very adored little dog is currently very unwell. She is bleeding into her GI tract and losing massive amounts of blood.
The differential currently includes acute on chronic kidney failure, and inflamatory bowel disease.
To treat the latter she's been started on cyclosporine. She's also on a vast plethora of medications - mostly gastroprotectants but this also includes giving her subcutaneous fluid injections -
